From 27 June through to 19 October The National Museum Scotland are hosting Ming Dynasty – The Golden Empire exhibition. This will be the only UK showing of this internationally significant exhibition.
We were delighted to be asked to prepare arrangements for the exhibition opening reception on 26th June in the Museums Grand Gallery and Bute Room.
Grand Gallery: Low golden candlestands with seasonal flowers in blue, red, cream and yellow on poseur tables.
Bute Room: Tall golden candlestands topped with lush arrangements of in similar colours as above plus lots of hurricane lamps, candles and little pots of flowers.
A few of our own images taken post setup are shown below ……
Very many thanks for your assistance in ensuring the event yesterday evening ran smoothly, and for your patience and flexibility when the programmed timings over ran a little. A pleasure working with all of you. I spoke to a few of the guests last night who thoroughly enjoyed the evening, and we have had some similar feedback by email today – so thank you again.
